Lyne Kirk features in one of John Buchan's early novels, "John Burnet of Barns", and as part of the celebrations to mark the 150th Anniversary of John Buchan's birth a special service will be held in Lyne Kirk

This service is being organised by the John Buchan Story Museum in Peebles as part of a weekend of celebrations.
